We’re looking for a Business Development Universal Lender to join our team - someone who can combine lending expertise with a passion for building strong customer relationships and growing business in the local market.
What You’ll Do
As a key member of our lending team, you’ll be the go-to expert for consumer lending - guiding customers from first conversation through closing, while actively building new relationships in the community.
Lending & Customer Experience
- Meet with customers to understand their needs and recommend the right loan solutions
- Originate a variety of consumer loans (home equity, auto, RV, personal, and more)
- Guide customers through the entire loan process—from application to closing
- Coordinate with underwriting and processing teams to ensure a smooth experience
- Deliver exceptional, personalized service that builds long-term loyalty
Business Development & Sales
- Proactively identify opportunities to grow loans, deposits, and relationships
- Build and maintain referral networks with realtors, auto dealers, RV dealers, and local businesses
- Conduct outreach calls and follow-ups with prospects and existing customers
- Represent the bank in the community through events and networking opportunities
- Consistently meet or exceed individual and team performance goals
Relationship Management
- Stay connected with customers after closing to ensure satisfaction and uncover future needs
- Promote a full range of banking products and services
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulations
What You Bring
- Strong sales and relationship-building skills with a customer-first mindset
- Experience in consumer lending and loan origination
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and a pipeline of loans
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Self-motivation and a drive to achieve results
- Commitment to integrity and community-focused banking
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required. Bachelors degree preferred.
- 3–5 years of consumer lending experience preferred
- Proven success in sales and customer relationship development
- NMLS registration required
- Valid driver’s license (for community/business development activities)

Compensation: $23-$26 per hour
