Parts Delivery Driver - Night Shift at Stowers Machinery Corporation – Chattanooga, Tennessee

The Parts Department Driver (Night shift) is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of parts between Stowers Machinery locations In Knoxville and Chattanooga. This role supports the efficiency of the Parts Department by ensuring accurate deliveries, maintaining vehicle safety, and providing excellent customer service. This position is responsible for unloading and loading stock.

NIGHT SHIFT HOURS: 6:00pm-4:00am

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

· Ability to operate delivery vehicles, including manual transmission.

· Basic understanding of warehousing and inventory procedures.

· Strong organizational and time management skills.

· Effective communication and customer service abilities.

· Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards.

Preferred Qualification(s):

· Valid CDL (Class B or higher).

Box truck driving experience

· Forklift certification.

· Experience with logistics or parts delivery in a machinery or automotive environment.

Education Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required.

Essential Job Functions:

· Deliver parts to customers and internal branches on scheduled routes.

· Load and unload parts using appropriate equipment.

· Maintain delivery logs and documentation.

· Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle for safety and cleanliness.

· Assist with warehouse duties as needed.

· Uphold company standards for safety, professionalism, and customer service.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

· 3+ years of professional driving experience.

· Experience in a parts or warehouse setting.

· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

· Capable of standing, walking, bending, and operating equipment for extended periods.

· Mental focus for safe driving and route planning.

· Ability to work early morning shifts and occasional overtime.

Work Environment:

· Primarily operates in delivery vehicles and warehouse settings.

· Exposure to outdoor weather conditions during deliveries.

· Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
