Overview

Work Location: Toronto, Ontario - Hybrid

Compensation: $18-22 per hour based on experience

Please Note: Training for this role is conducted onsite at our Scarborough office - Hybrid work is available upon the completion of onsite training. Agents working a hybrid schedule may be required to return to fully on-site work if remote performance does not meet established standards or expectations.

Currently seeking Collection Agents in Major Banks, Government and Telecommunications portfolios.

Senior Collectors must have at least 3 years of 3rd party collections experience or 1 year student loan servicing experience.



Responsibilities

Agents will be required to contact consumers via telephone in an attempt to collect overdue accounts. During the process, collectors must be able to answer consumers’ questions regarding their account and negotiate repayment.

  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Acute computer skills
  • Negotiate repayment arrangement
  • Accurately update consumer account information
  • Utilize various trace tools to locate consumer information
  • Clearly document call results
  • Exceed minimum performance requirements
  • Adhere to strict security policies & procedures
  • Adhere to provincial and state laws
  • Bilingual is certainly as asset (English, French) but not required
  • Various shifts are offered depending on the department evening shift for all departments availibility required
  • High speed internet with ethernet cord connection (our system is not compatible with WIFI)
  • Smart Phone with Microsoft Authenticator app to connect to VPN
