In this role, you will operate at the intersection of design and engineering, shaping how product experiences are built, shipped, and refined at scale. You will take ownership of bridging the gap between design intent and production code, ensuring that user interfaces are not only visually consistent but also highly functional, performant, and accessible. Working closely with product designers and engineers, you will evolve and maintain the design system across both Figma and code, while actively improving workflows, tooling, and development practices. This is a highly hands-on role for a builder who thinks in systems, cares deeply about craft, and is motivated by improving how teams design and ship software. You will have a direct impact on product quality and team velocity in a fast-moving, product-led environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for owning the bridge between design and engineering, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and consistent user experiences across the product ecosystem.

• Own and evolve the design system across both Figma and production code, ensuring consistency between design and implementation.
• Build and maintain reusable, production-ready React components, tokens, and UI patterns used across the platform.
• Ensure high UI quality across the product, including interactions, responsiveness, accessibility, and edge-case handling.
• Collaborate closely with product designers to translate design intent into scalable, high-quality production experiences.
• Improve internal tooling, workflows, and developer experience to accelerate design-to-production delivery.
• Identify inefficiencies in current systems and proactively redesign processes, components, and tools for better scalability.
• Work with engineering teams to establish UI standards and raise the overall bar for frontend craftsmanship.

The ideal candidate is a senior frontend and design-minded engineer who is passionate about system thinking, product quality, and building scalable UI foundations.

• 6+ years of experience building production-grade frontend applications.
• Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern CSS (Tailwind preferred).
• Proven experience building and maintaining design systems in production environments.
• Solid understanding of component architecture, performance optimization, and maintainability best practices.
• Ability to work fluently in Figma and contribute to system-level design decisions.
• Experience building developer tools, internal platforms, or workflow automation is highly valued.
• Strong product sense, visual taste, and attention to UI detail.
• Familiarity with modern frontend tooling (e.g., Vite, Storybook, microfrontends) is a plus.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across design and engineering teams.
