Cardiac Technician

Performs non-invasive cardiac testing inclusive of ECG and Holter monitoring; provides physicians with data for use in diagnosing cardiac abnormalities; participates in unit quality improvement,

Uses an understanding of principles of growth and development to determine each patient s age specific needs and provides age specific treatment,

Opportunity for on-call shifts,

Winter and summer holidays required,

Weekends required,

Education/Training/Certification/Licensure:

High School Graduate or equivalent

May be trained on the job,

Six month probationary training period under the guidance of a qualified preceptor,

Experience in an acute care setting helpful,

BLS Healthcare Provider

Successful completion of all Orientation Programs
