Job Overview:

Jersey City Medical Center is looking for a Full-Time Coordinator for the Central Sterile Supply department.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CRCST- Certified Registered Central Service Technician thru IAHCSMM or CBSPD
• Have at minimum 1 year of Coordinator experience for a shift
• Work related experience in an acute care Central Service and/or Perioperative Services environment,
• At least 3 years work related experience in a Sterile processing department
• Experience with SPM software a must
• Good verbal and written communication skills,

Scheduling Requirements:

Night Shift 40 hours/week Full Time

Essential Functions:

Utilizes the SPM tracking system to generate and monitor daily reports and compliance, Communicates with department Supervisors and staff to ensure instrument availability and smooth operation of department for the next days schedule,
• Able to plan, coordinate and execute a workflow to ensure all trays and case carts are ready for the next day
