Northern Virginia Ophthalmology Associates (NVOA) is one of the largest physician-owned ophthalmology practices in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. We are a leading, patient-focused ophthalmology practice dedicated to delivering the highest quality eye care to our patients. Established with a mission to improve and preserve vision, NVOA combines cutting-edge technology with compassionate care to meet the needs of patients of all ages. We are seeking a medical ophthalmologist to join our team.

The practice has been operating for nearly 50 years and consists of three offices in Northern Virginia with 15 ophthalmologists and 2 optometrists. We are a physician-owned practice providing the highest quality eye care services to the communities we serve. Our practice offers subspecialty care in the areas of glaucoma, cornea and refractive surgery, pediatric ophthalmology, adult strabismus, oculoplastic surgery, and uveitis. We operate at 7 surgical facilities in the Northern Virginia area. This role includes in-office consultations and patient care, including laser surgery such as SLT and Yag PI/capsulotomy, if desired. However, the role does not include OR-based surgery.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited ophthalmology residency program.
• Board certification or eligibility in ophthalmology
• Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice in the State of Virginia
