Role Summary:
Are you a hands-on leader who takes pride in keeping trucks running safely, efficiently, and reliably? We’re a well-established, financially strong trucking company in NW Indiana, and we’re looking for a Shop Foreman who is passionate about supporting drivers, developing mechanics, and improving shop operations.
As our Shop Foreman, you will report directly to the CEO and play a key role in maintaining our fleet, serving customers, and shaping the processes that keep our trucks on the road.

Compensation and Benefits:
    $70,000 - $75,000 annual salary, commensurate with experienceMedical/Dental/Vision/PrescriptionsPTO401(k)A stable company with a strong reputation and a supportive, team-centered cultureThe ability to influence systems, processes, and shop performance

Primary duties of the Shop Foreman:
    Providing solid leadership to and oversight of our team of mechanicsOverseeing the process of servicing truck breakdowns in a timely and cost-effective mannerManaging and ensuring an accurate and sufficient inventory of repair parts on budgetMaintaining a PM Schedule that maximizes truck uptimeManaging the work order process for accuracy and effectiveness

Requirements for the Shop Foreman:Alignment with our company valuesDemonstrated success in planning and scheduling maintenance and repairsHighly organized and strong attention to detailMechanical aptitude and proficient with computersSound judgment and decision-making capabilities Knowledgeable of applicable DOT regulationsMust pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and background check.Must have a valid CDLCandidates being interviewed and considered for employment are subject to a pre-employment questionnaire, drug screen, background check, and driving record review.
