Junior Customer Service Representative (Science/ Environmental Background)
$19 - $25 an hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Customer Service Representative with a degree in a science or environmental-related field. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers, supporting inquiries related to scientific, environmental, or technical products and services. The ideal candidate combines strong communication skills with a foundational understanding of scientific or environmental concepts and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:- Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and online portals
- Provide accurate information regarding products, services, and processes related to scientific or environmental offerings
- Assist customers with order processing, documentation, and general account support
- Log, track, and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner
- Escalate technical or complex inquiries to appropriate internal teams when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions within CRM systems
- Support internal teams by coordinating customer feedback and service requests
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and environmental regulations
- Contribute to continuous improvement of customer service procedures and documentation
