About This Position

Facilities Director

The Facilities Director is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and daily operations of all hospital facilities, grounds, utilities, building systems, and infrastructure, including all outlying clinics. This role ensures a safe, compliant, efficient, and patient-centered environment across a 24/7 rural community hospital setting. The Facilities Director oversees facility maintenance, life safety, construction management, emergency preparedness support, vendor relationships, and regulatory accreditation readiness (including CMS, OSHA, NFPA, state fire marshall and Joint Commission requirements.)

This position will report to the Chief Operations Officer.

Qualifications:
Minimum five years in facilities management required; healthcare experience preferred. Experience in supervision/management of a Plant Operations Department, knowledge of Joint Commission regulations, facility buildings, equipment, and utilities.
