Job Description

Product Manager, Tenant Success

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Product Manager, Tenant Success in Australia.

This role sits at the intersection of product expertise, client engagement, and platform enablement within a fast-growing payments technology environment. You will act as the primary product liaison for key banking and acquiring tenants, ensuring they fully understand, adopt, and maximize the value of the platform. The position requires a strong mix of technical product knowledge and customer-facing leadership, as you translate complex tenant needs into structured product requirements and actionable insights. You will play a critical role in maintaining strong tenant relationships while also influencing internal product direction through real-world feedback. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will help tenants navigate onboarding, releases, and ongoing platform usage with confidence. This is a hands-on, relationship-driven product role focused on stability, clarity, and continuous value realization.

Accountabilities:
  • Serve as the main product point of contact for a portfolio of bank and acquirer tenants, managing ongoing relationships, communication cadence, and issue resolution.
  • Gather, structure, and document tenant requirements, translating operational pain points into clear product briefs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Act as a strong internal advocate for tenants, influencing product prioritization and roadmap decisions based on real customer needs.
  • Develop deep platform expertise to support tenants and internal teams on configuration, integration, and optimal product usage.
  • Own tenant-facing documentation, including user guides, release notes, and feature communications to ensure clarity and adoption.
  • Support pre-sales activities, including RFP/RFI responses and product demonstrations in collaboration with commercial teams.
  • Assist with onboarding, UAT, and go-live activities, ensuring smooth tenant deployment and capturing feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Product Management, Technical Account Management, or similar client-facing product roles within B2B SaaS or payments.
  • Strong understanding of payments ecosystems, including acquiring, EFTPOS, transaction flows, and stakeholder relationships between banks, acquirers, and merchants.
  • Proven ability to translate complex client needs into structured product requirements and clear technical documentation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior banking or enterprise clients.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, including writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
  • Ability to operate effectively across product, engineering, delivery, and commercial teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality external-facing product documentation.
Benefits:
  • Flexible remote working arrangement across Australia.
  • Competitive compensation package aligned with experience.
  • Employee Share Option Plan (eligibility-based).
  • Paid parental leave for primary and secondary carers.
  • Annual team offsite and regular social events.
  • Option to work from overseas for up to 4 weeks per year.
  • Paid volunteering leave to support community initiatives.
  • Salary sacrifice and novated lease options.
  • Inclusive and diverse workplace culture focused on collaboration and innovation.
