MED TECHNOLOGIST - Microbiology in Auburn, New York at Auburn Community Hospital

A Microbiology Medical Technologist is a highly skilled health professional who tests and analyzes a variety of specimens to aid health care providers in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Work duties include reading bacterial culture plates, planting specimens, interrupting culture results, molecular testing and limited serology testing. Position includes rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Lab Sciences. Currently licensed as a NYS CLS or license eligible. Prior Microbiology experience is preferred.

Salary - $36.25 - $41.50 per hour
