This role is responsible for leading and expanding strategic relationships with large national accounts in the manufacturing and environmental services sectors, with a strong focus on retention, growth, and long-term partnership value. You will serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring consistent delivery of services while identifying opportunities for expanded solutions and revenue growth. Acting as both a strategic advisor and commercial lead, you will develop tailored account strategies aligned with client needs and market dynamics. The position requires deep industry expertise, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments. You will also translate data and market insights into actionable plans that strengthen performance and customer satisfaction. This is a high-impact role where relationship management directly drives business growth and sustainability outcomes.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans focused on growth, retention, and expansion of assigned national accounts and prospects
- Serve as the primary relationship owner, ensuring strong client engagement, satisfaction, and long-term partnership development
- Manage contract compliance, service delivery alignment, and resolution of client needs across organizational functions
- Identify and propose additional services and solutions based on client needs, market trends, and competitive positioning
- Analyze account performance data to identify opportunities, develop action plans, and drive measurable business outcomes
- Monitor market behavior and competitive activity to adjust account strategies accordingly
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution of services and alignment with customer expectations
- Track pipeline growth, account penetration, and forecasted revenue performance for assigned accounts
- Minimum 7 years of experience in sales, sales management, or account management roles
- At least 10 years of experience in sales or consulting within environmental services, hazardous waste, or related industries
- 3+ years of experience in a primary customer-facing or client relationship management role
- Strong understanding of environmental services, waste management, or power generation sectors
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic account plans that drive revenue growth and retention
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to interpret data and market trends into actionable strategies
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder accounts in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, customer-advocate mindset
- Competitive base salary range: $99,800 – $149,800 depending on experience and qualifications
