This leadership role sits at the center of financial planning, commercial strategy, and performance management within a fast-scaling B2B technology environment. You will act as a key strategic partner to Sales, Marketing, and Operations, translating complex financial and operational data into actionable insights that guide business decisions. The role combines hands-on financial leadership with high-level strategic influence, owning topline planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across key revenue metrics. You will also play a critical role in scaling FP&A capabilities, improving processes, and enhancing financial visibility across the organization. With direct exposure to senior leadership, you will help shape commercial strategy, investment decisions, and growth priorities. This is an ideal opportunity for a forward-thinking finance leader who thrives in dynamic, data-driven, and high-growth environments.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team, fostering strong financial capabilities and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Own topline financial planning and reporting, including revenue, bookings, ARR, and billings across annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.
  • Drive monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business performance.
  • Deliver detailed variance analysis and performance insights across key commercial drivers such as churn, bookings, revenue, and ARR.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to support decision-making, commercial planning, and strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee commission planning, administration, and forecasting in collaboration with Revenue Operations teams.
  • Build and enhance financial reporting using FP&A and CRM tools, translating data into clear business narratives for leadership.
  • Develop business cases for strategic investments and continuously improve FP&A processes, tools, and scalability.
  • Present financial results and insights to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and FP&A, ideally within B2B SaaS or recurring revenue technology environments.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing finance teams.
  • Strong expertise in SaaS financial metrics, including ARR, bookings, churn, and other topline KPIs.
  • Deep analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to translate complex data into strategic insights.
  • Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of sales operations and commercial strategy.
  • Experience designing and managing commission structures in complex B2B environments.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Pigment, Adaptive, Salesforce, and NetSuite.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Experience with US GAAP / revenue recognition standards (ASC 606) is an asset.
  • Strong leadership qualities, including adaptability, resilience, and hands-on execution mindset.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ranging from approximately CAD 170,000 to 200,000, plus discretionary bonus
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and wellness benefits
  • Professional development budget to support continuous learning
  • Dedicated wellness days and company-wide wellness week
  • Lifestyle spending account for personal well-being and flexibility
  • Employee recognition programs
  • Inclusive, values-driven, and collaborative work culture
  • Strong focus on transparency, growth, and employee engagement
  • Opportunity to work in a high-growth, innovative technology environment
