AERO Specialties is a world leader in manufacturing and distributing high-quality ground support equipment (GSE). The AERO Specialties Assembly Technician is responsible for building a variety of specialized equipment such as tow bars and lavatory carts used in servicing aircraft. This position is not an assembly line role and requires the Technician to build a unit from start to finish utilizing a variety of tools and methodologies.

    Utilize hand tools and other equipment to complete the build of AERO productsFollow build procedures to ensure each unit meets company and customer specificationsEnsure each unit meets quality standards, check units for defects and accuracyFollow documentation requirements to ensure proper tracking of units through the build process


Requirements

What qualifies someone for this position?

Experience using hand and power tools is necessaryAviation parts experience is a plusMechanical aptitudeAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced work environmentStrong organizational skills and detail orientedAbility to operate a forklift and/or complete our internal forklift training program
