Position OverviewWe are seeking a Pre-Litigation Attorney to manage a high-volume docket of personal injury cases from intake through settlement. This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident in liability evaluation and negotiations, and is driven to maximize case value.
Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume caseload of personal injury matters from intake through settlement
- Conduct liability analysis, evaluate coverage, and develop case strategy
- Review medical records, police reports, and insurance documentation to assess case value
- Draft demand letters, correspondence, and settlement communications
- Negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing parties to achieve favorable outcomes
- Maintain consistent communication with clients and provide high-level service
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient case progression
- Prepare cases for litigation handoff when necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation in the firm’s case management system
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active member of the California State Bar in good standing
- 3+ years of personal injury pre-litigation experience
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently
- Strong negotiation and case evaluation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office
Salary Range: $80,000-$200,000 per year
