Maintenance Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our facility team. Key Responsibilities:

- Perform daily maintenance tasks to ensure the facility operates efficiently and safely

- Conduct safety inspections and implement preventive maintenance measures

- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, safety checks, and repairs

- Update and coordinate mock drills to ensure preparedness and compliance

- Work closely with contractors and vendors to schedule repairs, maintenance, and safety upgrades

- Assist in identifying maintenance needs and recommend improvements

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in facility maintenance or a similar role

- Knowledge of safety procedures and preventive maintenance practices

- Strong record-keeping and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication and coordination skills

- Basic understanding of building systems, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC

- Ability to respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergencies

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are a plus
