Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Medical Assistant (MA) to care for our patients in the Butterfield Park Medical Clinic. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the clinic: This rural health clinic provides complete family health care for adults, children, mothers and infants.

A typical day includes: Working closely with the nurse practitioner while:

• Obtaining vital signs, reviewing medical history, and reconciling medications and allergies
• Completing required screenings and assessing the history of present illness
• Administering medications orally, via injection, or nebulizer
• Performing IV therapy and catheterization (nurse only)
• Cleaning and restocking exam rooms between patients
• Communicating test results and provider messages to patients

Job Requirements:

• Education: High school Diploma
• Experience: nursing/medical experience
• Skills: Multitasking
• Physical: The ability to stand for long periods and to thrive in a fast-paced environment

The position is: - PRN/DAYS, 8:00am-5:00pm. MUST BE AVAILABLE WEDNESDAYS AND THURSDAYS
