Job Summary
The Business Operations Coordinator supports sales, operations, and internal stakeholders by coordinating customer inquiries, generating quotes, processing orders, and maintaining accurate records throughout the order lifecycle. This role interacts with multiple departments to ensure smooth cross-functional processes, handles customer issues and inquiries, and assists in facilitating approvals, including pricing coordination.
This role requires a proactive professional who can balance customer deliverables with internal process discipline, cross-functional coordination, and problem-solving.
Essential Functions

- Establish the initial set up and continuous updates of customer opportunities for standard orders in Salesforce.
- Develop accurate and timely price quotes received directly from customers or internal sales team for standard products and returned materials under warranty. Coordinates with the Director, Business Operations for final review / approval and submits final price quotes to customers.
- Effectively works cross functionally with proposal teams as key pricing support member and communicates pricing risks (resources, schedule, basis of estimates).
- Create and/or assist with the placement of pricing quotes through final sales order completion into Deltek Costpoint.
- Provide value add price analysis to ensure cost model is accurate and cross-checked prior to final review and submission.
- Support data analysis and reporting leveraging Salesforce for management review and decision making.
- Recommend workflow improvements, support operational tasks, and contribute to team goals.
- Handle customer issues and inquiries and ensure resolution in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, process accounts, and file documents.
- Assist with detailed pricing information and coordination as needed.
- Escalate requests that fall outside established Business Operations procedures to ensure compliance and alignment with cross functional teams

Experience and Skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, (verbal and written).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Copilot, Word, Excel, Outlook); preferred experience with Salesforce, Deltek Costpoint, ProPricer.
- Customer-focused with active listening and problem-solving abilities
- Professional interpersonal skills, including patience and positive attitude.
- Ability work independently and meet deadlines in fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Technically adept with strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
Education
- B.S. in Finance, Accounting, or business administration with 1-3 years of relevant experience in pricing support, and business coordination roles, preferably in a technical environment.
