Performs clinical and clerical tasks. Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider. Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients’ charts. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. May administer injections and perform clinical testing such as EKGs. Performs routine clerical functions based on knowledge of medical practice procedures and policies.

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a Medical Assistant Program or Certified Nursing Assistant Program-Preferred
