Indoor Greenhouse Sales Associate
Seasonal- Hiring Multiple Candidates
Lyndale Location

Job Duties:

• Work directly on sales floor, and registers, throughout the store, assisting customers and accomplishing “Bachman’s Customer Service Culture”
• Process all POS transactions according to established procedures including delivery orders in OA, sales, returns and transfers.
• Maintain store appearance with general cleaning, caring for plants, dusting, stocking and displaying merchandise.
• Answer customer questions, provide information and process orders.
• Provide accurate, timely and friendly service to Bachman’s customers
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• This position requires lifting up to 50 pounds waist high.
• Lifting plants and buckets above shoulder.
• Greenhouse environment with temperatures over 80 degrees 50% of the year.
• Able to work at a fast pace, standing for the entire work shift.
• Must be able to work with products known to cause allergic responses in some people.
• This position requires excellent customer relations and communication skills.
• Must be able to read and write in English and perform basic math skills.
• Past cashier experience is preferred.
• Must have the ability to service Bachman’s customer as the NUMBER ONE priority.
• Have basic understanding and knowledge of plants and plant care.
• Assist customers with choosing plants and answer their plant questions

Schedule:

• Flexible work schedule/Retail store hours (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays)
• Expected to work a minimum of half the weekend days each month, in May preferably more.
• Mother's Day weekend has required work shifts.
