Full-Stack Engineer at Obin AI – New York, New York

What We're Building Obin AI builds AI agents that automate or assist core workflows in the financial services industry. We’re already working with some of the world’s largest financial services firms with sponsorship from senior leadership.
The Role: We're looking for Full-Stack Engineers who can help us build and scale LLM-based agentic applications from the ground up. You’ll join our team as one of our earliest hires. You'll work directly with the founders (ex-Google) and own key technical decisions from day one. You’ll ● Build Enterprise-Grade Applications using React and Python on public cloud● Design End-to-End AI Solutions with founders and clients, translating workflows into intuitive, production-ready products● Own the Full Stack — from architecting Python backend services to deploying production systems on AWS/Azure/GCP● Deploy in Real Customer Environments, ensuring performance, security, and observability standards are met● Move Quickly and Autonomously in a fast-paced, high-trust environment where decisions and contributions have immediate impact Experience Required: ● 5–10 years of software engineering experience, including strong ownership of production systems● Expertise with Python, Front End (React), Databases, Security, Data Engineering, Logging, Observability, Cloud (preferably multiple clouds)● Comfortable working in ambiguous, 0-1 environments● Strong product intuition and ability to design within systems — even without perfect mocks● Deep user empathy and customer focus — able to build solutions that are not just technically sound, but deeply aligned with real-world needs● Open to being a founding hire, working cross-functionally and client-facing Bonus If You Have ● Experience with fintech, enterprise SaaS, or regulated data systems● Experience building AI applications in production● Prior consulting or finance background● Led major technical initiatives or mentored engineers in the past● STEM Degree
$150,000 - $200,000 *depending upon experience
