Maintenance Mechanic - Day Shift

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our manufacturing operation by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment

- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime

- Repair or replace faulty components, ensuring safety and efficiency

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs

- Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades

- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations

- Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and equipment reliability

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED; technical training or certifications preferred

· 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience (or equivalent combination of education/training and experience).

· Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems (drives, bearings, pumps, pneumatics/hydraulics).

· Basic electrical knowledge and ability to safely troubleshoot motors, and control circuits using meters and standard test equipment.

· Ability to read and interpret work orders, equipment manuals, schematics, and mechanical drawings.

· Working knowledge of safe work practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and machine guarding requirements.

· Ability to work a regular day shift schedule.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
