Platinum Care Group is hiring compassionate and dependable live-in caregivers to support a 65-year-old female client in Glenview, Illinois. We are currently hiring three live-in caregivers to ensure consistent, high-quality support for this case. This position focuses on companionship, safety supervision, household support, and promoting the client's independence while providing peace of mind for her family. DRIVERS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE, as transportation to appointments and community outings is an important part of the client's care plan. The ideal caregiver is reliable, attentive, safety-conscious, and comfortable supporting a client who ambulates with a walker and is considered a fall risk.

What You’ll Do

• Provide companionship, conversation, and supervision throughout the day
• Assist with meal preparation, serving meals, and kitchen clean-up
• Provide standby assistance and safety monitoring while the client ambulates with a walker
• Assist with light housekeeping, including laundry, bed making, and maintaining a clean living environment
• Drive and accompany the client to appointments, errands, and community activities
• Provide medication reminders and support daily routines
• Monitor the client for changes in condition, mobility, or overall well-being and communicate updates appropriately
• Help maintain a safe environment and reduce fall risks throughout the home

What We’re Looking For

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
• Comfortable driving clients to appointments, errands, and activities
• Caregiving experience preferred (training available)
• CNA or HHA certification a plus
• Experience assisting clients who use walkers or other mobility devices preferred
• Knowledge of fall prevention and safe mobility practices
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Ability to pass a background check
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing quality care
