Our new colleague will contribute to the vibrant curriculum of the department primarily in two ways – teaching courses in Human Anatomy and Physiology for both biology majors and non-majors. Applicants should have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Review of applications will begin 27 February 2026 and will continue until the position is filled.

Duties and Responsibilities:Our new colleague will teach undergraduate courses that include Human Anatomy for Biology majors and Human Anatomy and Physiology for non-majors and will have the potential to develop and teach a course(s) in the Biology Department Curriculum in the future.
Minimum Qualifications:

• M.S in Biology or related field.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the University level

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Biology or related field is preferred. Applications from M.D. (or equivalent) degree holders will also be considered.
• Experience teaching in and managing multi-section courses
• Experience in personnel management, including graduate and undergraduate teaching assistants
• Experience in LMS and course-specific software (such as D2L Brightspace and McGraw Hill Connect)
