Certified Nurse Assistant at Citizens Memorial – Stockton, Missouri

Citizens Memorial Hospital Foundation (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide exceptional care for our residents at Lake Stockton Long Term Care Facility. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the area: Stockton, Missouri is home to Stockton State Park, which offers a range of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, fishing, boating, and swimming. Stockton Lake is located a few minutes from our facility and is a popular destination for boating, water sports, and camping!

About the department: Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility is a 90-bed long term skilled nursing facility. A 30-bed memory care unit meets the specific needs of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

A typical day includes: A typical day will include knowing and applying current nursing theory, principles of treatment, and nursing procedures in the care of residents.

• Prepares residents for meals, serves, and collects food trays and nourishment, and document intakes.
• Bathes, dresses, and assists resident with personal hygiene including oral hygiene, peri-care, nail care, and hair care along with any other activity of daily living needed.
• Completes range of motion, positions, and pads residents for proper alignment, comfort, and relief of pressure.

Job Requirements:

• Education: HS diploma
• Experience: None—we provide on the job training.
• Skills: Good Communication Skills, Patience, Attention to detail, Flexibility, Intrapersonal Skills.
• Licensure/Certification: N/A (We provide on the job training if you are looking to obtain your Certified Nurse Assistant Certification.)
• Physical: ability to work at a fast pace with about 90% of the day consists of walking.

The position is Full Time, Nights.
