Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for the Neurology Clinic! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the Department: At CMH Neurology & Headache Center/Missouri Memory Center, we serve patients with a wide range of neurological and cognitive concerns. The Neurology Nurse Navigator serves as a dedicated point of contact for patients with neurological conditions and their families, guiding them through the complexities of the healthcare system. This role focuses on coordinating care, providing education, and offering advocacy to ensure patients receive timely, efficient, and compassionate services. The Nurse Navigator acts as a central link between the patient and the various members of the Neurology and multidisciplinary team, helping to overcome barriers to care and improve patient outcomes.

A typical day includes: The nurse is responsible for intake of patient, reason for visit, medication reconciliation, verification of the patient's medical /family/social history, and assessment of patient utilizing required questionnaires.

Job Requirements:

• Education: RN, Associates degree or Bachelors degree
• License: Valid, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN)
• Experience: Experience in Neurology or related field is preferred
• Skills: Communication, multitasking
• Physical: the ability to stand for long periods of time and to thrive in a fast-paced environment

The position is: Full-time, days. Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
