Technical HVAC/R Trainer at National HVAC Philadelphia – Deptford, New Jersey

You’ll design and deliver training that helps our technicians master the skills they need to succeed.

• Develop and deliver HVAC/R technical training programs
  
• Lead hands-on classroom and field training
  
• Teach core topics like:
  
  • Refrigeration cycles
    
  • Electrical diagnostics
    
  • Airflow and system performance
    
  • Controls and combustion
    
• Train best practices for troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance
  
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards, EPA refrigerant regulations, and NJ requirements
  

This role goes beyond training — you’ll help build careers.

• Support onboarding and ongoing development for new and existing technicians
  
• Evaluate technician skill levels and recommend career development plans
  
• Build relationships with technicians across the company
  
• Be known as the go-to coach and mentor for technical growth
  

You’ll help shape the future of our training program.

• Develop training schedules to help technicians reach their next career step
  
• Create lesson plans, manuals, and skill assessments
  
• Deliver training on:
  
  • Electrical schematics
    
  • Commercial installation practices
    
  • “Pull-through work”
    
• Provide on-site field training
  
• Help expand our Hawks University Training Lab
  
• Develop training modules and competency labs

• OSHA 30 Certification
• Lull / Scissor Lift Certification

You’ll also deepen your expertise in commercial HVAC systems like:

• WSHP systems
• RTUs
• Ice Machines
• Preventive maintenance programs
