Job Description
Camaraderie Clubs, a management company started by the Co-Founder and former CEO of Travis Mathew, is looking to redefine the landscape of Country Club Membership for the next generation of Club Member. We own two premier club properties: Spanish Hills Club and The Huntington Club.
We work in a very collaborative team environment where our process culture of “Plan, Communicate, Track, Evaluate & Adjust” is applied to every decision our team makes, so that we can succeed as a team. It’s an exciting time to join our clubs and we are currently seeking a Banquet Cook to join our team at Spanish Hills Club.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- 1+ years of professional cooking experience in a high-volume environment
- Serve Safe Certified or equivalent preferred
- Excellent meal prep skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work nights and weekends
Responsibilities
- Collects food and beverage products and small wares required for item preparation.
- Operates food production equipment according to manufacturers’ instructions.
- Carefully follows standard recipes while preparing assigned items for banquet service.
- Assists in plating food items for service.
- Handles leftover food items as instructed by the banquet chef.
- Returns soiled food preparation utensils and small wares to the proper areas.
- Cleans banquet preparation and serving equipment.
- Cleans assigned workstation areas.
- Consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling practices, including those related to personal hygiene.
- Carves food on buffet line.
- Keeps walk-ins clean and organized.
- Attends staff meetings.
- Sets-up plating line for banquets and assists with plating duties.
- Performs other appropriate tasks as assigned by the banquet chef.
