Massage Therapist at The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa – Grand Cayman

The Message Therapist will work as a member of our Hibiscus Spa team, performing Spa services at the highest level including: massages and body treatments in a safe and professional manner on our guests. The Massage Therapist will report directly to the Spa Supervisor/Manager.

Job responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Performing all Spa services in a safe and professional manner in accordance to both the Spa Standard Operating Procedures and Health & Safety guidelines.
• Maintain ample inventory of products and equipment necessary to perform all Spa services and to keep the Spa Supervisor/Manager informed of any low stock as required.
• Keep a neat and orderly work area consistent with the high standards of the facility.
• Constantly maintain an up to date knowledge of both theoretical and practical information pertaining to the therapist position and be aware of market trends.
• Ability to answer all questions related to both the products and services offered within the Spa facility.
• Ensure punctuality in both arriving for work and commencing guest appointments throughout the day at all times.
• Must be enthusiastic, honest, efficient and professional in appearance.
• Must possess good communication skills.
• Other duties may be assigned as business need demands.

• A current Massage therapy/body treatment license that meets the criteria in order to obtain a license to practice in Grand Cayman will be required.
• Minimum 2+ years working experience as Massage therapist or related field required.
• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of massage therapy.
• Hospitality experience additionally required.
• Skin Care Training required.
• Must be qualified in full Anatomy & Physiology of the body.
• Strong guest relations/customer service experience required.

• Must be able to perform all types of massages including; Deep Tissue, Swedish, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone and Reflexology.
• Excellent written & verbal communication.
• Ability to multitask in demanding environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holiday will be required.

We offer a remuneration of guaranteed $300 KYD weekly plus competitive commission
