Your role as Risk Manager
Dialogue is looking for a Risk Manager to take part in our mission to help people improve their wellbeing.Reporting to the Director of Risk and Compliance, your role will be to help strengthen how risk and compliance are managed across the organization. You will contribute to building a forward-looking risk culture by designing and implementing practical processes that empower teams to make confident, informed decisions.
Through your expertise, you will help protect and support our business, clients, customers, and partners as Dialogue navigates an evolving and complex landscape.

What you'll be doing:
- Design and implement risk management programs (policies, processes, training, and tools) across business continuity, third-party risk, information governance, model risk, etc.
- Analyze regulatory guidance (e.g., OSFI) and conduct gap assessments between regulatory requirements and current business practices
- Support risk identification, evaluation, and improvement initiatives across business areas, including advising on risk considerations for new projects and process changes
- Lead implementation of new or updated compliance requirements by assessing business impact and helping design, maintain, and optimize controls
- Develop and execute monitoring activities, track risk issues, and prepare synthesized risk reports with strategic recommendations for stakeholders and management
- Support audits, third-party due diligence, stakeholder engagement, and continuous optimization and automation of risk and compliance processes
- Manage Dialogue’s GRC tool and its evolution
We'd love to hear from you if you have
- 6+ years of experience in risk management, preferably in financial services or another highly regulated industry
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification in risk management, finance, business, economics, or a related field
- Breadth of knowledge of risk and compliance domains, including business continuity, third-party risk, data governance, technology risk, model risk, and privacy
- Strong understanding of technology-related risks and awareness of emerging tools, including artificial intelligence applications in risk and compliance
- Knowledge of financial services regulations and governance practices, including familiarity with Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Canada guidelines (e.g., B-10, E-21) is an asset
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing risk and compliance frameworks in a business environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to quickly learn and apply knowledge across multiple risk domains
- Ability to balance regulatory requirements with operational practicality in a fast-paced, technology-driven organization
- High integrity, autonomy, and a collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
