Driver at Mid-Size Demo Company – Mt. Holly, New Jersey

Position Summary

The primary responsibility of the Driver is to help meet the equipment needs of customers by delivering and picking up equipment in a timely, safe, and courteous manner. This role involves the operation of a variety of construction rental equipment, including heavy equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers ("low boys").

We are looking for a skilled Driver who has the ability to function well as part of a team and utilizes very effective organizational and communication skills to service our clientele efficiently.

Schedule

Employment Type: Full-Time

Days and Hours of Work: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Subject to occasional overtime)

Qualifications & Requirements

Mandatory: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class A or B.

Mandatory: Clean driving record and the ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.

Experience: A background in construction and industrial equipment operation is required.

Preferred Skills: Knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, gas, and diesel machinery is highly preferred.

Teamwork: Must be highly motivated and function well as part of a team.

Compensation and Benefits (NJ Mandated Disclosure)

Hourly Wage Range:

The compensation for this position is between $25.00 and $32.00 per hour, based on experience, specific CDL endorsements, and technical equipment knowledge.
