About This Position
Part-Time (.6 FTE) Intensivist opportunity at Northwest Hospital in Baltimore County
The Department of Medicine Critical Care Division is seeking a highly engaged physician to join our Critical Care team at Northwest Hospital.
Northwest Hospital is a 254-bed community hospital with 16-bed closed ICU that has served the northwest Baltimore community for more than 50 years. Northwest has facilities nearby that offer convenient services such as outpatient surgery, adult day care and physical rehabilitation.
LifeBridge Health consists of Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Northwest Hospital, Carroll Hospital, Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, and Grace Medical Center.
The Opportunity:
- Approximately 8-9 twelve-hour day shifts monthly
- Well-established Critical Care Division
- Critical Care procedural skills including central line insertion with ultrasound guidance, arterial catheter insertion, IO insertion, thoracentesis, paracentesis, lumbar puncture, small and large bore chest tubes, intubation, and bedside ultrasound
- Patient case mix includes both routine/moderate acuity and complex/high acuity patients.

If you possess the following qualifications, please apply immediately:
- Critical Care Fellowship Required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine required
- Maryland Medical License without restrictions
- Current CDS and DEA license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Must work well as part of a team
