About Us:
FirstLight Home Care of Dothan is a growing home care agency focused on building a reliable, high-quality caregiver team. We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of hiring, build strong caregiver relationships, and help us scale.
The Role:
You will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, and supporting caregivers—ensuring we bring in dependable people and maintain strong relationships with our team.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where communication, organization, and follow-through are critical.
What You’ll Do:
- Interview and hire caregivers
- Manage job postings and applicant flow
- Complete onboarding and HR documentation in Paychex
- Maintain consistent communication with caregivers
- Build relationships to improve retention and engagement
- Track new hires and follow up on attendance/performance
- Handle write-ups and support disciplinary actions
- Process LTC paperwork and maintain organized records
- Support office operations and assist where needed
- Participate in on-call rotation

- You consistently hire reliable caregivers
- Caregivers feel supported and stay engaged
- Strong communication is maintained across the team
- New hires show up and perform well
- Documentation is accurate and complete

Salary based on experience
