FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking an experienced Intensivistto join our collaborative team at our flagship campus in Pinehurst, NC. We are a nationally recognized and a physician-led health system. • Join a well-established team of 4 physicians and 6 APPs.
• Medical, cardiac, and surgical ICUs.
• Average daily census of 28 is shared between physicians and APPs.
• Block schedule – 7 on/7 off.
• Night coverage provided by experienced APPs.
• Considerable collaboration with subspecialists including cardiology, infectious disease, pulmonology, neurology, and surgery.

• Completion of ACGME- or AOA-approved residency program
• Board Certification in Critical Care Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Anesthesiology Critical Care through ABMS or AOA
• Previous Intensivist experience (post-fellowship) preferred
• Clean background, unrestricted NC medical license and NC DEA
• AHA ACLS certification
