Position Summary
Stripe-A-Zone, a Frontline Road Safety Group company, is seeking a dependable and motivated Shop Helper / Parts Runner to support daily shop operations and help keep the team running efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment, takes initiative, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to support the shop, mechanics, and operations team.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a shop setting, a valid and active driver’s license, strong attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. We are looking for a true go-getter who is a self-starter, dependable, and willing to work beyond the normal scope of the role when needed.
Key Responsibilities
· Pick up and deliver parts, tools, materials, and supplies as needed
· Assist with organizing and maintaining the shop, yard, and inventory areas
· Support mechanics and shop personnel with basic tasks and day-to-day needs
· Receive, verify, and stock incoming parts and materials
· Help maintain accurate inventory counts and communicate when supplies are low
· Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
· Assist with vehicle, equipment, and shop readiness
· Interact professionally with vendors, customers, and team members
· Provide general support to the shop and operations team as needed
· Perform other duties outside the normal scope of the role when business needs require
Required Qualifications
· Valid and active driver’s license
· Previous experience working in a shop setting or as a parts runner ideal
· Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
· Self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude
· Willingness to help wherever needed
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Excellent customer service and communication skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
· Some mechanical experience or previous experience as a mechanic or apprentice
