About This Position
Oneida Technology Services (OTS) Group has an immediate opening for a Network Operations Engineer - Journeyman in Wichita County, TX at the Sheppard AFB.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares procurement requests and equipment orders in accordance with program and U.S. Government requirements.
- Verifies manifests, labels, and IUID tagging to ensure compliance with DoD and Department of the Air Force (DAF) policies.
- Packs, labels, and prepares all components for shipment to BAN locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping standards.
- Assists with receipt and acceptance activities at CACI, intermediary, and U.S. Government locations, including warehouse management, inventory accuracy, and location validation.
- Supports purchasing requests and assists with procurement of program supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Performs logistics support activities including warehousing, transporting, shipping, tracking, delivering, and staging equipment for installation sites.
- Prepares, reviews, and evaluates all logistics documentation and operations, including documentation required for overseas customs processing.
- Provides logistics technical data support for the development, review, and revision of engineering and technical documentation to enable timely and effective system fielding.
- Maintains accurate tracking of equipment, shipments, and documentation to support installation schedules and program milestones.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience performing logistics duties on large, complex programs;
- OR
- High school diploma or associate degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience as a Logistician supporting large, complex programs.
Specific Skills:
- Proficient in writing reports and updating data in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in documentation, inventory accuracy, and compliance-driven processes.
Certification(s): LCL certification preferred but not required. 8570 certification is required.
Clearance: Secret
Compensation Range: $37-41/ Hour + Benefits
