Ultrasonographer - Registered - OB/GYN Office at Lima Memorial Health System – Lima, Ohio

Functioning within the Health System’s mission, values, objectives, procedures and policies, the Registered Ultrasound Technologist performs a variety of ultrasound exams including abdominal and OB-GYN .

Education: Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program,

Licensure/Certification: Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in AB, OB/GYN preferred BLS required.

Experience: Ultrasound experience in the area of OB/GYN required.

Skills: Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to exhibit patience and tact and maintain a professional and courteous demeanor in all situations with all constituents including patients, physicians and other associates. Must also demonstrate flexibility with work schedule changes, be cooperative and collaborative, and have the documented ability to work with speed and proficiency while under stress. Performs a variety of ultrasound exams including abdominal, OB-GYN.
