Staff Nurse - Licensed Practical Nurse - Specialty Unit in Pomeroy, Ohio at Holzer Health System

The Licensed Practical Nurse works under the supervision of the RN to provide nursing care according to unit/hospital policies and procedures. They provide nursing care to patients with conditions, which require knowledge and technical skills. Assist with patient teaching. Successful completion of OBN approved IV therapy course required. Performs other duties as assigned. Follows all regulatory standards as required by department.

Education, Work Experience and Licensure:

· Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.

· Ohio License or MSL (Multi-state Licensure)

· Two years of nursing experience preferred

· CPR-Required

· NRP- Required (OB only)

· NCVI- Required

· OBN IV therapy course-Required

· Hazmat- Preferred
