Processor at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital – Warsaw, Missouri

This position requires a high school diploma or GED.

Requirements:
Excellent attitude; excellent personal skills, especially in customer service; excellent communication skills, organizational skills, ability to multitask and problem solve; flexibility. This position will involve a significant amount of time standing, walking, and bending over patients when performing phlebotomy. It will also require running samples through instrumentation, verifying results, and identifying a limited number of cells under a microscope. Processing any paperwork that goes along with the specimens will be part of this job, along with working in a LIS - Laboratory Information System.

Desired:
A working knowledge of physician office laboratory processes; trained/certified phlebotomist; knowledge of Meditech computer systems.

Candidate must have reliable transportation and will be expected to float to other clinic locations as needed.
