SUMMARY: The 1099 UAS/Drone Inspector at Bees360 is responsible for operating an unmanned aerial vehicle to capture aerial images and videos. The contractor will inspect structures for major insurance carriers for both underwriting and claims purposes. This candidate will ensure the safe and effective operation of the drone while adhering to all applicable laws and regulations governing UAS. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining their drone, performing routine checks, and replacing components as needed. Collaboration and communication skills are important as the contractor will work with insureds and carriers on inspections. These contracted inspections requires quick thinking, problem-solving skills, and good judgment to handle any unexpected challenges that may arise during a flight. Responsibilities: Utilize our proprietary mobile app to conduct interior and exterior inspections of residential properties. Operate small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) through the app to capture roof images and overhead shots of structures on the property. Ensure the collection of high-quality and accurate images to support insurance underwriting and claims processes. Follow safety protocols and guidelines for drone operation during inspections. Requirements: Experience in operating drones, with all levels of expertise welcome to apply. Proficient in using mobile applications for data collection.
