RN at Ophthalmology Center of Brevard LP – Melbourne, Florida

We are an ophthalmology outpatient surgery facility seeing an RN for surgical care in the OR and Pre & Post Operative positions. We provide an exceptionally high level of care to our patients in the community, providing individualized and specialized nursing care in accordance with physician’s orders, recognized nursing techniques, legal aspects of current nursing practice within the State of Florida, and the center’s policies and procedures. We have a friendly, supportive staff and take care of our patients like they are family. • Assist in patient care in the OR and Pre/Post operative environment.
• Maintaining a high standard of safety and patient-centered care.
• Must have initiative, insight, and good judgement in making decisions in a fast-paced outpatient surgery location.
• Functions cooperatively with physicians and staff, exhibiting teamwork characteristics.
• ASC experience preferred.
• Ophthalmology and OR experience a plus.

Experience:

• IV Skills: 2 years (Preferred)
• Perioperative, pre-op and post-op: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS and/or ACLS (Required)
• Florida RN (Required)
