**Job Description:**

We are seeking dedicated and experienced individuals for a Traffic Flagging/Controller position at CTD Safety. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of traffic flagging operations, conducting safety training, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. This role requires strong knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to work effectively in various field conditions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Use hand signals and flags to guide vehicles through construction zones, directing them to stop, slow down, or proceed as needed.

- Monitor traffic conditions and identify potential dangers, alerting construction workers to approaching vehicles.

- Place and remove traffic cones, barricades, and warning signs to define the work zone.

- Maintain clear communication with construction crew members and other flaggers on site.

- Adhere to all traffic control safety guidelines and regulations.

- Perform detailed field surveys to assess safety conditions.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

- Monitor and evaluate flagging operations to identify potential safety hazards.

- Provide guidance and support to flaggers to ensure safe work practices.

- Maintain accurate records of safety training and incidents.

- Collaborate with field supervisors and other team members to promote a culture of safety.

**Required Skills and Abilities:**

- Physical stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods outdoors in various weather conditions.

- Visual acuity: Excellent eyesight to monitor traffic and identify potential hazards.

- Attention to detail: Ability to focus on traffic patterns and respond quickly to changing situations.

- Communication skills: Clear and effective communication with drivers and construction workers using hand signals and verbal instructions.

- Decision-making: Ability to make quick judgments and adapt to changing traffic conditions.

**Work Environment:**
