Registered Veterinary Technician (Signing Bonus!) at Beacon Veterinary Specialists – Fremont, California

Beacon Veterinary Specialists is a well-established veterinary emergency specialty practice in Fremont. We are searching for a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team of professionals!

We’re offering a competitive hourly wage of $30 - 40/hr as well as a $3,000 signing bonus! We are looking for compassionate, motivated team players who have an interest in emergency medicine. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn and ready to expand on their veterinary careers!

Schedule:

Training schedule: Thursday/Friday 5:00 am - 5:30 pm and Saturday 6:00 am - 6:30 pm

Regular schedule: Thursday/Friday 6:00 am - 6:30 pm and Saturday 5:00 am - 5:30 pm

You’d be a great fit if you:

• Are a Registered Veterinary Technician looking to enhance their medicine

• Have experience working in emergency medicine

• Strive to provide each client with compassion and care

Your primary responsibilities:

• Performing or assisting in physical examinations

• Participating in state-of-the-art surgeries including emergency, orthopedic, neurologic, and soft tissue

• Anesthesia Monitoring

• Client communication and education

• Recommendation of treatment plans with estimated costs

• Carrying out tasks as requested by the Veterinarian

Requirements:

• 2 - 3 years of clinical experience and an active RVT license
• Familiar with Inpatient and Outpatient services
