About the job

The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment for all employees and visitors in our facilities, ensuring that all areas meet industry standards and contribute to the overall efficiency of operations.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recycling materials in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure all waste receptacles are regularly emptied and maintained.
• Clean and maintain surfaces, including windows, walls, and furniture.
• Use appropriate cleaning agents and tools for different surfaces.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying management when replenishment is needed.
• Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition.
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks or special projects as directed by management.
• Support event setup and breakdown as needed.
• Greet and assist visitors in a friendly manner, addressing any concerns related to cleanliness.
• Provide support to employees as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment is advantageous.
• OSHA safety training or equivalent preferred.
