About This Position

The Children's Medical Group is seeking a full-time Outpatient Pediatrician to join our practice in Highland and Kingston, NY.

From birth through college age, we offer comprehensive and well-rounded medical services for children of the entire Hudson Valley in New York through our eight convenient office locations. Position Overview:

  • Full-time position
  • Join a group of 3 pediatricians and 1 advanced practice providers
  • Schedule: 4 days per week
  • No rounding schedule

  • Education, Licensure & Certification:

  • M.D. or D.O. degree required
  • Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics (change to Family Medicine if applicable)
  • Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of New York
  • Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of New York
  • Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics (change to Family Medicine if applicable) within five years of completing training
  • Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment

    The base compensation for this position in New York is $230,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include any bonuses, benefits, or additional incentives. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Offers are based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate’s education, work experience, and certifications, all of which are dependent on the requirements of the specific role. In addition to base salary, the Pediatrics Associates Family of Companies and its affiliates offer a comprehensive benefits package, potential incentive and recognition programs, and retirement planning (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements based on position, and division).
