Painter at University Health System- San Antonio – San Antonio, Texas

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepares surfaces and paints University Health buildings and facilities. Performs assigned tasks safely, competently, and efficiently in a timely fashion. Properly care for equipment and supplies. Performs assigned duties promptly and proficiently. Complies with the health system and departmental policies and procedures.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required. Knowledge of how to mix and blend paints is preferred. The ability to speak, read, and write English, make simple calculations, and follow simple written and oral directions is required. One (1) year of painting experience is required. Two (2) years of the aforementioned experience gained in a hospital environment is preferred.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

A valid Texas state driver’s license is “Class C” and must maintain a clean motor vehicle record.
