Summary

The successful Quality Specialist will be responsible for managing the Company’s QA systems, customer quality expectations, internal/external and regulatory quality compliance.

What you'll do

• Work collaboratively with the Quality Department to enhance and maintain our quality system
• Promotes a culture of quality through process and procedural improvement
• Ensure corrective actions (NCR) are properly generated and effectively closed
• Ensure document and record controls are maintained
• Participate in the identification and implementation of continuous process improvement activities
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management system preferred
• Manage and oversee ISO documents and reporting

• Aid in supplier development and occasionally make supplier visits

What you'll need

• Prior experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment preferred but not required
• Two-year College or university program certificate with 2 years of experience, or 4 year college or university degree in either Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments during the workday
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers
• Computer Skills: SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, Spreadsheet and Word Processing Software, Adobe Acrobat Professional, MS Access, Photo editor software, Outlook, Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint
