Join Our Team as a Registered Veterinary Technician at Central Veterinary Hospital!

Are you a skilled Registered Veterinary Technician looking for a rewarding full-time role in a supportive and well-established practice? Central Veterinary Hospital, located in the heart of the Bay Area, is excited to invite you to join our dedicated team in Fremont, CA!

• Competitive pay: $28 - $35 per hour, based on experience

• $3,000 signing bonus

• Consistent schedule: Training hours (Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) for the first 8 weeks, then transitioning to Monday - Friday, 10:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

As a Registered Veterinary Technician at Central Veterinary Hospital, you'll be an essential part of our general practice team, helping to provide excellent care for our patients and compassionate service to their owners.

• Venipuncture, vaccine administration, and X-ray proficiency

• IV catheter placement and endotracheal tube placement

• Dental cleaning/polishing, extractions under DVM supervision, and dental X-rays

• Wound assessment, bandaging, and splinting

• Urine collection via cystocentesis (with ultrasound)

• Anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance

• In-house lab work and blood pressure monitoring

• Preparation of surgery packs and patient surgical prep

• Client education and post-op instructions

• Perform or assist in physical examinations

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment area for pets

• Recommend treatment plans and provide client communication and education

• Monitor anesthesia during procedures and assist veterinarians as needed

• Uphold hospital standards for patient care and client service
