Qualified candidates should have experience in or understanding in any or all of the following systems:

PLC Operations

Electrical Knowledge (120V, 208V, 240V & 480V)

Assembly Line Conveyors (set-up, changeover & break-down)

Repairs and adjustments on packaging machinery

HVAC (preventative maintenance)

High Mechanical Aptitude

Compressed Air Systems

General Industrial Mechanics; background in aviation or machine mechanics preferred.

Perform major overhaul on filling and packaging equipment.

Diagnose electrical problems. Run conduit and pull wire.

Replace, repair, trouble shoot limit switches and photo-eyes.

Change motors, heaters, relays and starters.

Make adjustments and repairs to all types of drive units, sprockets, V-belts and sheaves.

Rebuild speed reducers, replace motor bearing and replace and align chains.

Trace city water, treated water, CO2 lines, air lines, and gas lines for trouble shooting.

Diagnose and repair pneumatic valves.

Perform seam checks, interpret results and make adjustments to insure proper sealing with tolerance.

Diagnose and resolve capper headset problems.

Adjust and maintain can and bottle line production equipment and general plant supporting systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years experience as a Mechanic (Aircraft or Manufacturing)

Must be able to communicate in English
